Immediate joy, and everlasting benefit through music for all young Australians
The one thing that seems to be accepted by everyone regardless of whether connected with music and music education, is that we should have music for our children. It is the common ground that we all share. So we work from the premise that music education is not a "nice to have" but an essential ingredient for all children regardless of race, location, ability or disability.
Sistema Australia is an organisation determined make music participation and education for children, available, accessible and inclusive regardless of ability or inability.
We believe that an investment in the child through music is an investment in them for life! The experience and performance of music is invaluable on every level – measurable and immeasurable.
Apart from the obvious joy in playing and singing and discovering music, the benefits are many, helping us be more successful in our society, at school, in developing intelligence and in life as a whole. No other activity is so comprehensive in what it can do for us, as is participating in music.
Our Mission
"Immediate joy, and everlasting benefit through music for all young Australians." To bring real, joyous participation in music to all Australian children, regardless of ability or inability, by providing an orchestra and/or choir in which they can learn, sing and play.
